Europa Sports Products Hosts Montel Williams, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Others at NY Awards Dinner
Charlotte, NC April 22, 2010 - Europa Sports Products, the nation’s leading distributor of nutritional supplements, will host several celebrities at an upcoming Pace University Leadership in Management awards dinner in New York.
The university is honoring Magazine Publishing Magnate David Pecker and Online Advertising Innovator Gurhaksh Chahal at its 47th annual awards dinner at Cipriani Wall Street on Thursday, April 29.
Europa Sports Products received a personal invitation for the event from award recipient David Pecker, who has had a long-running relationship both in business (through his many American Media Publications) and personally with Europa Sports Products CEO-Eric Hillman as friends and fellow entrepreneurs. An important characteristic for which the award Pecker is receiving is based.
“When David asked me to attend the dinner, I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to introduce several of our new business partners who share a common vision of educating & changing peoples’ lives,” Hillman said.
Those partners include celebrity personalities Montel Williams, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Phil Keoghan and Rebecca Kordecki. All soon will be introducing nutritional supplements that Europa Sports Products will be distributing. All will be attending the dinner, except for Keoghan, who is finishing work on his series, The Amazing Race.
Williams is an author, actor, producer and multiple sclerosis advocate. Hasselbeck is host of The View, author of The G-Free Diet, and is active on behalf of those with gluten intolerance. Kordecki is a fitness and lifestyle expert and creator of the Booty Slide®. Keoghan is an adventure TV personality and producer-hosting The Amazing Race in its 16th season on CBS.
“In the coming weeks all four celebrities will be coming out with new, exciting products,” Hillman said. “The Pace Award dinner seemed to be a good opportunity to both honor David for his award, and collectively celebrate the launch of these items, which mirror the publishing categories of AMI magazines in “Health & Fitness” and “Celebrity Journalism.”
Williams will be introducing a combination Super Vitamin Pack and Superfoods drink. Hasselbeck will have a line of gluten-free nutrition bars. Keoghan with a new energy bar that is formulated specifically for cyclists and the endurance market, and Kordecki has a supplement to aid in recovery after a workout.
Also in attendance will be Hasselbeck’s husband Tim, former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst; Melanie McLaughlin, president of Montel Media Group and her husband Keith; Michael Gottsegen, IMG Worldwide Vice President of Licensing and Retail Development; Richard Hart, group advertising director for AMI, and Dina Zajicek, assistant to Pecker.
